You may have at least heard of or seen our Michigan wine app for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android — hopefully, you own it, use it and love it! Now, you have a chance to be IN it.
Welcome to Feedback Friday, our weekly feature that works like this: We solicit comments about a specific winery or wineries. You supply them. We pick some to include in our app. You become famous (at least in the Michigan wine community). The end.
Today's featured wineries:
Round Barn Winery
Peninsula Cellars
J. Trees
Send your comments on these wineries to cort@michiganbythebottle.com or post them as a reply to today's Feedback Friday thread on Facebook. We'll be accepting Feedback Friday comments for these featured wineries until next Friday, when we'll introduce a new set. (Of course, feel free to come chatter on Facebook about the wineries you love just for fun any old time. We dig that.)
Read on for complete details...

We asked readers to share which Michigan wines they'd include on the menu at their own garden party for a chance to win a pair of tickets (valued at $300!) to The Garden Party, a June 10 charity event at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, courtesy of the event's organizers. Today, we turned to the trusty random number generator at Random.org to select the winner.
And the winner is ... GRETA MOSHER! Greta, please email us at cort@michiganbythebottle.com to claim your prize!
Greta said she'd be turning to the Leelanau Peninsula to supply the beverages if she were throwing a garden party. "Blanc de Pinot Noir from Forty-Five North because this is the time of year for a gorgeous pinot! Fruit forward with a dry finish it’s beautiful with dinner," she wrote. "Cremant Classic from Lawrence Mawby, I’ve been drinking his method champagne for years, and it never fails to delight me. I would use this particular wine for pre or post dinner. Stands alone or with dessert or apps!"
Congratulations, Greta! For more information on the event and how you can purchase tickets of your own, read on...
